jody and i celebrated our 12th anniversary last saturday. what a fun day we had.
we started the day off by taking our family to the Draper Temple open house. what a beautiful place to be. it was fun to explain to the kids why we went to the temple and for them to see where we go. joseph said he could feel the spirit and all of the kids were very reverent. we ended up our tour in a sealing room just about the same time of day 12 years back that jody and i were sealed in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple. (joe thought that was prettycool) how greatful i am to have found a great guy and that he could take me to the temple to be sealed for eternity!!
later that night jody and i went to the jazz game. we had tonz of fun and we had great seats and parking. (thanks to jody's assisstant coach who gave us the great tickets!) i hadn't been to a game since junior high, and the last time jody went was when he was 8 years old. thanks mom and dad for watching the kids. (dad said that he asked joseph to bless the food and during his prayer he thanked Heavenly Father for getting to go to the temple before he turned 12. now if that doesn't make you feel good, i don't know what will.)
can you belive how fast time flies?! here is a little glimps at 1997:
my sisters probably won't forgive me for this one for a while. and kyle, the baby is returning home from his mission in Argentina in 7 weeks.

How exciting that you got to go to the open house on you anniversary. We are going on the 14th hopefully my kids will be reverent as well. i think I will have to pray for Elijah!
That is such a nice picture of the family and wow you two look so lovely. Happy Anniversary!! I was looking at the rest of your blog and the kids are growing so fast. Kali's hair is getting long. Joseph is getting tall too! Little man tate is such a funny guy getting around so well, and the comic of the bunch Carter! He is funny too.
