one sunday after church a few weeks back, we decided to go for a drive around utah lake. jody had read somewhere that january was the best time to look for bald eagles around the lake because they are nesting. we didn't know what to expect, but here is what we found:
one bald eagle
a golden eagle in one tree that flew to another tree that had 7, yes i said 7 golden eagles.
Jody said it was kinda eerie because they are such big birds. and they were looking at him funny - HA. he ran through a field about a 1/2 a mile and got as close as he could. this next guy looks wierd because he is about to take off.

That's amazing! I'll have to show this to Josh. He's always pointing out birds of prey. I think he learned that in Scouts!
